It has been 2 months since I started my blog and set my goals.  Every month, I like to take some time to review my goals and set a new monthly goal.

Unfortunately, I’ve been hurt again and I am unable to workout at this time. I went to a pain specialist who ended up re-injuring the area (L5S1) by placing hard pressure on it. I went to my chiropractor on Friday and today and I feel worse (not because of the chiro). Now I have a tightening on my right buttocks, he said it was the beginning of my hamstring and did some light adjusting.

This is definitely a downer but the good part is that I have found SuperFoods through a book I happened upon at the library The Drop 10 Diet. So while,  I can’t do anything! I can still work on eating the right foods and manage my health goals in that manner for now.

I can do some light walking, I did do a little walking in place today but I began to hurt so I decided to take a break today. (Its been 5 days now and it’s killing me!!)

Now back to the goals!

Last Month’s Goals:
One Month Goal (Apr 10, 2014) while I was pretty close to this goal off by (0.5lb) I think I am doing pretty well at 125.4 today!)
To hit my goal weight 125lbs, get more defined abs/arms and to lose another inch.  Totally hit this goal too! I lost a little over an inch overall.

Six Month Goal (Aug 10, 2014)
To hit my second goal weight 122lbs, maintain my strength training and running 5-6x a week.

My goal for the year from 2/10/14 was for me to maintain my activity level, to be training for my 2nd half marathon and to stay at a healthy weight (120~125lbs).  Now (3/21/14) I’m thinking I want to sign up for a FULL marathon. I’ve heard that the Chicago Full Marathon is a good one for beginners I will be signing up for that lottery today.

My NEW Goals

One Month Goal (May 10, 2014)
To hit a mid goal weight of 123lbs, get more defined abs/arms and to lose another inch (total overall, waist, arms, & legs).

Six Month Goal (Aug 10, 2014)
To hit my new* goal weight 120lbs, maintain my strength training and running 5-6x a week.

My goal for the year from 2/10/14 was for me to maintain my activity level, to be training for my 2nd half marathon and to stay at a healthy weight (120~125lbs).  I had been (3/21/14) thinking about signing up for a FULL marathon.

I’ve heard that the Chicago Full Marathon is a good one for beginners. So I signed up for the lottery last month and was actually informed TODAY that I was selected (and my boyfriend too) but I am uncertain at this point if I will be able to due to my back injury. It is only 6 months away and that may be TOO close to properly heal and train. My back up plan is to run the Houston Marathon in Jan 2015.
